Pre-requisites
Delegates should be Outlook users, with experience equivalent to the level achieved after Microsoft Outlook Module 1. It will be helpful if they are also familiar with either Microsoft Word or Excel.

Advanced Message Management: Templates and Forms; Creating Custom Templates; Using Voting Buttons
Sharing Information: Public Folders; Defining and setting Permissions
Meeting Management: Delegate Permissions; Managing Resource Calendars
Customising the Interface: Adding shortcuts to the Outlook Bar; Customising Toolbars; Creating Custom Views; Creating Filters
Contact Management: Using Categories; Sending Email and fax direct from Contacts; Adding Custom Fields
The Outlook Journal: Overview of the Journal; Recording Activities in the Journal; Automatic recording of Contact activity.
Integrating Outlook with other MS Office applications; Sending email and fax direct from Word; Using Contacts data as a source for Mail Merge; Creating Office Documents in Outlook
Internet/Intranet connectivity: Remote Mail; Inserting Hyperlinks; Using the Newsreader

Please bear in mind that unless your organisation is running Microsoft Exchange Server, some features, such as the Out of Office Assistant, may not be available on your own system.

Outlook Business Contact Manager - this is a separate add-in which has to be installed with 2003 onwards. It would the be subject of a separate course. We should be happy to supply details.
